This session will focus on the Middle East and Africa, looking at the opportunity gap, the Middle East’s growing role, and the importance of collaboration in de-risking, addressing questions such as: 

• Are international agencies adequately adapting their risk models to get projects financed in Africa? 
• With the Middle East becoming a huge demand center for export finance, are traditional ECAs and banks moving fast enough to capitalise on this?
• How is the GCC-Africa trade corridor changing the competitive landscape for European players in Africa?
